La Rosario Hostal - Quito

Would recommend for a short interlude

Clean room, friendly staff, the breakfast was abundant and reasonably priced, with a great selection including eggs, ham, and fresh juice, making it an ideal start to each day, while the hotel's convenient location allowed for easy access to explore nearby attractions.

There was nothing I didn't like.

La Rosario was a fantastic find in Quito! Super clean rooms with a strong hot shower and tasty breakfast. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the old town. Just a heads up, the floors creak a bit, so some noise is to be expected.

Very well maintained building and lovely little and reasonably large rooms on the top level. Good and incredible location in the next street is a reeeeeeally good restaurant and easy access to a shopping street and convenience stores.

The wifi was unreliable, frequently cutting out in the room. The noise level from other guests was unbearable. I barely got any sleep. When I reported issues, the staff seemed indifferent to my concerns.

the breakfast offers lots of coffee, tea, granola, fruit and eggs. the double room is nicely equipped with a bedroom, earplugs, for example. the location is central, near old town center, old centre and public transport, and the cathedral and 15 to the main plaza.

The family suite on the top floor offered a fantastic layout with a full kitchen and living room. Clean rooms with a central terrace added a nice charm to the experience.

The noise from the street below starts early, around 6 am, which could be disruptive, especially for light sleepers. Wi-Fi connectivity was an issue, with reports of it being unreliable in the rooms, which forced some guests to seek it out in public areas.

La Rosario is excellently located near the historic center, great for easy walking access to sights. The staff was accommodating, providing thoughtful recommendations for local attractions. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds offering a good night's sleep.

Just an ideal choice for a quick break in Quito with value for money. They took care of arranging transportation for us late at night without any issues. Request a room on the quieter side if you're sensitive to noise.

Just a fine choice for a day tour in Quito with high value for money. The breakfast with fruit and good coffee was a great way to start the day. Make sure to try the local market for delicious food nearby.

I previously stayed in the city, but la rosario exceeded my expectations on this budget stay. The location is fantastic, with easy access to historic sites. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was helpful with recommendations and arrangements.
